Authentic Chinese Food - Cuisine of Hunan

Authentic Chinese cuisine is not the kind of food you get from your local take-out restaurant. Authentic Chinese cuisine is regional, provincial, and one of these regional cuisines of Hunan Province.

About 64 million people live in the province of Hunan in central China, where the cuisine has been influenced by all types of kitchens. The region has vast agricultural land to produce abundant crops, and as home to one of the largest freshwater lakes in China, which of course has its own influence was on the kitchen.
